Domaine d’Ardhuy
The Domaine d’Ardhuy was created in 1947 following a beautiful meeting between two wine lovers, Gabriel d’Ardhuy and Éliane during the harvest in Burgundy.
Later, they acquired some of the most beautiful terroirs of the Côte-d’Or such as Corton Pouget Grands Crus in 1956, Gevrey-Chambertin in 1988, Meursault in 1994 or Savigny Lès Beaunes 1er Cru in 2000.
Domaine d’Ardhuy is located in the heart of Burgundy, France in the Côte de Nuits bordering the Côte de Beaune.
The d’Ardhuy family has owned this estate for four generations perfecting the winemaking process. The vines are treated with the utmost respect of the terrain and cultivated in a traditional manner. The harvest is the final outcome from the work of the vineyard care. Through exceptional knowledge of the land and frequent maturity checks, they harvest each field at its optimum maturity.
All fermentation takes place traditionally in oak barrels with regular stirring of the lees at the end of the fermentation process resulting in exceptional wines.
They are now certified biodynamic.
